Last Thursday evening (July 19) I took several pictures of the sunset with my iPhone. There was a thunderstorm off to the southwest, which produced an interesting cloud formation in the west. I've had disappointing results with the iPhone camera when trying to take sunrise or sunset pictures---the colors which look so vivid to the eye tend to get overexposed and washed-out in the camera. But the colors here were nicely saturated, a reasonable approximation of what I saw. (This photo was not edited in any way, except for a slight bit of cropping on the right edge to remove a bit of roof in the foreground.)
